Label 60 × 40 mm

The 60 × 40 mm label (2.36 × 1.57 inches) is a common thermal format. Here you will find the dimensions in dots for every DPI and a ready-to-use ZPL example.

Dimensions in dots per DPI

Dots are the printer's pixels; they result from inches × DPI (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

Defining this label in ZPL

^PW sets the print width, ^LL the label length – both in dots. The example applies to 203 dpi; use the table values for 300/600 dpi.

Tip

Choose 300 dpi for high print quality and fine barcodes – 203 dpi suffices for standard text.
